Assembling a four-year plan is a crucial step for students to meet all graduation requirements. This plan maps out the courses students need to take.Â
Sometimes, a student’s plan needs to be adjusted. Credit waivers and substitutions are two options for this. A waiver allows a student to bypass a required course, often due to prior experience, while a substitution enables them to replace a required course with a similar one.Â
Additionally, many students use career surveys to help guide their choices by suggesting potential majors and career paths that align with their interests.
