The High School and Beyond Plan is a graduation requirement for every student. It's a process that guides students, parents, and teachers through high school, helping them think about their future. Plans are personalized and designed to help students set, visualize, and work towards achieving their goals.

Our High School and Beyond Bundle offers numerous valuable features, enabling students to explore careers, take self-assessments to gain a deeper understanding of their personalities, and develop their resumes to prepare for the transition after high school.

Logging onto High School and Beyond presents a Home Page with easy navigation for the user. Additionally, the left navigation menu has been designed to provide explanations for various actions.

Completion Status

Click Completion Status in the left-hand navigation menu.

Tab: High School and Beyond: Tasks

You will be presented with your High School and Beyond Tasks. Focus on your Grade Level Column (unless instructed otherwise). Click on one of the blue hyperlinks to start an activity. (example: 9th Grade>SMART Goals.) Once you click on the activity, a new browser tab will open.

The Meter icon to the right of each task indicates the student's progress. Marking the activity as Complete will turn the Meter Icon Orange. This is an indicator for your Educator that you have finished the activity and it is pending their approval.

The Grey meter indicates that the student still needs to finish the task.

Next to the Meter Indicator is also a Communication Message icon. This will open a pop-up window for adding/reviewing further comments and messages as needed.

Click + Add Record to add a message or comment.

A pop-up Task Message window will appear.

To Edit/Delete a message, click on the Row Action & Options gear icon to the right of the communication.

A Green check mark means the Educator has marked this task as "Approved," and the student has completed/finished the activity.

A Red check mark means the Educator has marked this as "Revisions Requested." The student needs to return to the activity and make the necessary edits.

An Orange check mark means the student has marked this activity as "Complete," and it is pending approval/review by the educator.

Tab: High School and Beyond: Assessment Scores

Hover over the High School Beyond Tab and select Assessment Scores to review Assessment Completion.

Tab: Career Planner

Hover over the Career Planner tab and click Portfolio. This will display what the student has accomplished in their Portfolio.

The Self-Assessment section will display the number of attempts the student has taken and their completion percentage. Students must complete all three self-assessments at least once. These self-assessments reveal your Preferences, Interests, and Skills. Taking these assessments will gauge your interest in various careers and, upon completion, will generate results based on your personality and preferences. You may take the self-assessments multiple times to see how your results change throughout your high school journey. (For example, one set in 9th grade, another in 10th grade, 11th grade, or 12th grade, and so on.)

The Careers, Career Clusters, Programs, and Schools sections will display the careers/institutions the student has "hearted" (Favorited).

The Experiences, Recognitions, Compositions, Goals, and Add Files are additional tasks that can be completed in the Career Planner.

Tab: Four-Year Plan

Here is where a Student can create/review what has been done in the Four-Year Plan application. Hovering over the tab will reveal several views, including the Four-Year Plan.

The summary displays the student's progress in finishing their Four-Year Plan.
Details display specific information the student enters, including their Plan's Name, Preferred Career, Graduation Pathway, and Post-Secondary Plan.
The Schedule displays what courses the student planned vs. the actual schedule.
