Here are some things to remember in the community:

Protect your account credentials and never share your password with others.

Log out of shared devices.
Ensure you log out when using public or shared computers to protect your account and district data.

Update your profile accurately.
Use your real name and professional information to support authentic collaboration.

Check your posts for privacy compliance.
Before sharing screenshots or data examples, remove or anonymize all personal information of students and staff.

Organize your posts clearly.
Use descriptive titles, tags, or categories if available to make your contributions easy for others to find and use.

Report technical issues responsibly.
Use designated reporting features or contact support for bugs, errors, or suspected security issues. Contact Support

Engage with community resources.
Review pinned posts, guidelines, and training materials before posting questions that may already be addressed.

Keep software and browsers updated.
Using the latest versions ensures compatibility and security when accessing SchoolData.net applications and the community.
Here are some things we do not permit in the community:

Don’t share personally identifiable information (PII).
Never post names, IDs, grades, or any data that can identify students or staff.

Don’t upload confidential district documents.
Keep internal or sensitive files within your secure district systems.

Avoid repeated posting of the same question or comment, and do not flood threads with off-topic responses.

For example, avoid using @mentions to notify groups unnecessarily or creating duplicate threads for attention.

If you suspect a security issue, please contact School Data Solutions support rather than attempting to resolve it independently, as this could compromise data security.
