Directly Viewing a Student’s Profile

When your search results return a student list, click any student's name to immediately open their full profile.

Student profiles provide comprehensive information, including Attendance & Discipline records, Grades and Credits, Assessment results, and active Student Plans.

Creating Student Groups

Connect AI helps you quickly identify students requiring intervention and build targeted cohort groups within seconds.

To create a group, select a preset prompt or enter a custom one. Once results display, ask Connect AI to "create a student group".

Saved groups can be accessed in Homeroom Connect via the left navigation panel under Student Groups > Create/Manage Student Groups.

Creating and Exporting Files

Connect AI can generate custom data exports based on your queries. To export data, enter your request in the chat message box.

Once your file is generated, a download notification will appear in the top-right corner of the screen.

Downloadable Charts and Graphs

You can instruct Connect AI to transform query results into charts and graphs for download and presentation use.

To generate a visualization, enter a follow-up request directly in the message box.

To download a visual, click the export icon in the upper-right corner of the chart or graph.

Generate an Email

You can ask Connect AI to draft communications based on query results, streamlining outreach to students or parents.

Generate a Progress Summary 

Connect AI can compile comprehensive student progress reports encompassing assessment scores, attendance, behavior, and course grades. For example, prompt Connect AI to "create a progress summary report for [John Doe], including STAR Reading and Math performance from Fall to Winter, attendance, behavior, and course grades."

Generate an Analysis 

Generate high-level analytical summaries suitable for administrative and board reporting. Simply ask Connect AI to "create an analysis for a board-ready report."

Analyze an Uploaded Document

Connect AI can analyze district-uploaded documentation, such as school improvement plans or curriculum frameworks, alongside system data.

To do so, simply type your prompt asking to analyze the specific document.

Connect AI will then deliver a comprehensive analysis to address your prompt.
