Homeroom

New Features

  • Student Plans Subpage (Tab)
    • A new HTML view is now available for the HiCap Plans, Individual Health Plans, Student of Concern Plans, Student Language Plans, and Success Plans Reports. To access a read-only view of a report, click the title in the Plan Information > Label column of the data table.
  • Created a new Additional Service Types Proportionality Report in Data Extracts/Reports that allows the user to select one or more Program/Service types for the Examined Population.
    • Incorporated the newly created standard Proportionality Report Validation Workbook, which provides the counts on the report, student details, and a parameters page. 

Improvements

  • A refreshed site navigation experience with a modernized look and feel.
    • Updated the SDS Platform site navigation button styling.
    • Updated "Take the first steps" HTML content block on the home page.
    • Created new "Get Started" HTML content block for the SDS home page, replacing the previous "Take the first steps" block.
    • Removed navigation item icons from left nav drawer items.
    • Removed the page introduction popover on hover from nav items.
  • Added a hidden "Is Active" column to the All Assessments data table on dashboards, defaulting to True. Users now see only active assessments by default but can opt to view inactive assessments as well.
  • Updated the My Students Data Table on the Teacher Dashboards to include Grade Level and Services columns. The Services column dynamically displays data based on user permissions, ensuring secure services (such as Free/Reduced Lunch or Homeless) remain hidden unless the district grants specific access.
  • Added WIDA Overall Assessment scores to the Standard Student Assessment Profile Report, accessible via both the Student Dashboard and Data Extracts/Reports.
  • Enhanced the logic for the AP/Honors Participation and Performance Proportionality Report in Data Extracts to utilize class attributes from the SIS, alongside existing class naming conventions, to ensure all relevant classes are accurately included.

ALE

New Features

  • Introduced an automated system for generating, managing, and distributing end-of-year Student Learning Plan (SLP) and Intervention Plan reports for ALE programs.

    • A new application page — Yearly SLP Documents — will be available in the Program Manager role in the next few weeks. It will feature a data table listing all generated end-of-year documents with columns for Program Name, School Year, Student Name, Plan Start/End Dates, and a download link for the combined ZIP file.

CTE

New Features

  • Teacher role: 
    • Added Data Extracts in the left navigation with pages for Reports, Data Tables, Charts, and Workbooks.
    • Added an Upload Documents subpage to the My Students page, allowing students to upload files using an ID number in the filename. Multiple files can be uploaded at one time.
  • Educator role: 
    • From the Industry Credentials page, clicking on an Industry Credential now opens a subpage called Aligned Programs, which displays a data table listing Programs of Study and the Alignment status as Active.
    • Added an Upload Documents subpage to the Industry Credentials page so student files can be uploaded using an ID number in the filename. Multiple files can be uploaded at one time.
  • Data Administrator role: 
    • From the Industry Credentials Details page, clicking on an Industry Credential now opens a subpage called Aligned Programs, which displays a data table listing Programs of Study and the Alignment status as Active.
    • Added an Upload Documents subpage to the Industry Credentials Details page so student files can be uploaded using an ID number in the filename. Multiple files can be uploaded at one time.

Improvements

  • Teacher role: 
    • Updated the My Classes data table to include a row action to Manage Work-Based Learning.
  • Educator role: 
    • From the All CTE Courses page, clicking on a Program of Study now displays an enrollment count for the listed Program Courses.
    • From the Programs of Study page, clicking a Program Category and navigating to the Industry Credentials subpage displays a data table that includes an Alignment is Active column.
    • From the Programs of Study page, clicking on a Program of Study and navigating to the Industry Credentials subpage displays a data table that has been updated to include the Aligned to the Program and Alignment is Active columns.
    • Updated all pages using Page Data Settings to include filters for Teacher, Schools, Grade Level(s), and a check box for Predominant School(s) Only.
  • Data Administrator role: 
    • From the Programs of Study page, clicking on a Program of Study and navigating to the Industry Credentials subpage displays a data table that has been updated to include the Aligned to the Program and Alignment is Active columns.

Bug Fixes

  • Homeroom: Fixed the AP/Honors Participation and Performance Proportionality Report in Data Extracts, which incorrectly displayed a 100% Passing Rate for all, even when students had failing grades.

 Other Improvements

  • EWM: Added a column to the Students data table that provides the alternative ID setup for a district via the ‘Other ID’ column.
  • HiCap Plans: Added a column to the Referred Students data table that provides a student’s ‘Family Preferred Language(s)’.
