📌 Homeroom Leadership Dashboard (Connect)

The main function of the Leadership Dashboard is to provide school leaders with a centralized view of key student and district performance data, allowing for in-depth analysis and action.

Accessing the Dashboard

  1. From the School District Dashboard:

    1. Start under the School District Dashboard in the left navigation menu.
    2. Click the Switch button to the right of the School District Title and select Leadership Dashboard from the list.

  2. From the All Dashboard:

    1. Start under Dashboards in the left navigation menu, and choose All Dashboards.
    2.  Search for Leadership using the keyword filter at the top of the Dashboard Name column.
    3. Click the magnifying glass next to the title.

Setting the Dashboard as the Landing Page Upon Log In

  1. Individual users can set this page as a default for their role. Click the Application Page Actions and Options Menu Gear in the top right and select  “Set this page as your default for this role.” 
NOTE: Once a default page is set, you cannot undo this setting except by changing it to a different page. This is a per-role, per-user setting.

  1. A Data Administrator can set the default page for all users of the District Administrator Role: Configure > School District > Default Dashboard. This will set it for ALL users with a District Administrator Role.

Making the Dashboard a Default or Favorite for Easier Access

Users can set this dashboard as their Default dashboard, which appears under “My Default Dashboard” in the left navigation.

  1. Start under Dashboards in the left navigation, and choose All Dashboards.
  2. Search for Leadership using the keyword filter at the top of the Dashboard Name column.
  3. Set it as your default dashboard by clicking the empty circle icon in the Is Default column.

  1. Users can also set this dashboard as a Favorite, which will appear under “My Favorite Dashboards” by clicking the empty heart icon in the Is Favorited column.

Dashboard Overview

  1. Use the Edit Page Data Settings button at the top of the page to the right of the school title to filter as needed. The views labeled “Current Year” will show only current-year data filtered by the chosen filters. All other views will honor selections in the Page Data Settings, including but not limited to: Enrollment Years, Data Years, Schools, Grade Levels, etc.

Current Year Prior Day Attendance Rate

  • Hover over any area for further information.
  • Click the Insights drawer to the left for AI Services.
  • Click on any section to view a list of included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.




 

Discipline Events

Current Year: Incident Counts by Grade Level Tab

  • Click the screenview (tabs) at the top of the

Container to access other views.

  • Use the Data Settings drawer to the left to filter results.
  • Click the Insights drawer to the left on each screen view for AI Services. 
  • Hover over any bubble for further information.
  • Click the bubble to view a list of included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.

Current Year: Incident Counts by Grade Level & School Tab

  • Use the Data Settings drawer to the left to filter results.
  • You will see a data table of Grade Level & School, incident, and student counts.
  • Click the arrow to the left of the grade name to reveal the school-nested details showing the number of students with “0”, “1”, “2-5”, or “6+”  incidents.

Students with Incidents by Grade Level Tab

  • Use the Data Settings drawer to the left to filter results.
  • Click the Insights drawer to the left on each screen view for AI Services. 
  • Hover over any bar or data point for further information.
  • Click the Number of Students with Incidents bar to view the included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student’s name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.


 

Tiered Attendance

  • Click the screenview (tabs) at the top of the

Container. (Current Year/Prior Year Attendance Summary)

  • Click the Tiered Indicator Name to reveal a data table of the included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.

Students Earning Failing Grades

  • Use the Data Settings drawer to the left to filter results.
  • Click the Insights drawer to the left on each screen view for AI Services. 
  • Hover over any bar or data point for further information.
  • Click on the Number of Students with Fs bar to view included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.


 

Facts About the District

  • Includes: 
    • Current Year Enrollment Counts
    • Staffing
    • Class Types
  • Click any name or count to view the included details. 
  • On lists with students:
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.

Student Program Counts

  • Includes: 
    • Service Counts
    • Plan Counts
  • Click any name or count to view the included students.
    • Click the magnifying glass next to the student's name to view the Student Dashboard.
    • Create a student group by clicking one or more checkboxes to the left, clicking the Selected Gear in the top left, and selecting Add Students to Student Group. Click the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.
