Here in the Data Administrator Role, learn to migrate classes from your Student Information System (SIS) to all Student Learning Plans.
Classes must be matched with an ALE Course via the Manage SIS Classes utility before taking this action. This action cannot be undone, so you must be confident that everything is in place before you take it. |
- Start under Administrative Tasks in the left navigation menu, choose SIS Data, and then Mass Apply Classes from SIS to Current SLP Subject Courses.
- Click the Generate Subject/Courses button. This will take all classes migrating from your Student Information System (SIS) and create corresponding subject/course records for all active Student Learning Plans.
A few things to note:
- When these procedures run, they will not insert subject course records if a subject course on the Student Learning Plan already has that ClassId (i.e., records will not be duplicated).
- After the mass utility is run, it is important that each Student Learning Plan be reviewed for accuracy and that the supervising Certificated Teacher approve the plans.
