The following document will highlight the various improvements we have made to our application Alternative Learning Experience (ALE), located in our application bundle “Alternative Learning”.

Featured Highlights

ALE-2289 

Library: On “Checked Out Copies” in the left nav, parents will now see any items they themselves have checked out, as well as any items checked out by any students they are associated with 

ALE-2301 

Library: Update  Search Functionality to include both a simple and advanced search. On the simple search, text entered will be searched against title, keywords and descriptors and any matches will be returned. Also, typing in the simple Search and hitting the “enter” key will result in the search being executed.  The Advanced Search will allow the user to search by any combination of the available fields, but will require clicking “Set” to execute.

Library: Add the ability for Users to Request Available Library Items.  After searching, users now see a row action that allows them to “Request Title.”  Requests are surfaced to the Librarian Role on the “Title Requests” Data Table until the request is fulfilled when it will no longer display.
