Introduction

The following document will highlight the various improvements we have made to our application Early Warning Module.

New Feature

INI-41 Added the ability for users to sign up for email notifications when a student has a change in risk levels.

  • EWMP-36 Created data structures to support weekly email notifications of student level changes. This includes:
    • EWMP-37 Created a weekly historical risk table and updated processing to populate it.
    • EWMP-38 Created Tables to store user notifications requests.
    • EWMP-39 Created a procedure that can be run nightly that will generate alerts when a student's current weekly level changes from the prior week's level.
    • EWMP-40 Created an Early Warning Module level transition email alert.
    • EWMP-43 Updated the nightly student determination to automatically deactivate monitors for prior year student groups.
  • EWMP-41 Created user interface pages that allow a user to set monitors for student groups or individual students.
  • EWMP-42 Created user interfaces that allow a user to manage the student and student groups that will be monitored.
    • EWMP-44 Created procedures and forms that allow for adding and editing individual student monitors.
    • EWMP-45 Created procedures and forms that allow for adding and editing student group monitors.
    • EWMP-46 Added “Add Monitor” row action and options for the ability for a user to manage their individual student notifications from the Students page.
    • EWMP-47 Added “Add Monitor” row action and options for the ability for a user to manage their student group notifications from the Student Groups page.
  • EWMP-48 Created user interfaces that allow a user to view risk level changes.
    • EWMP-49 Created a Current Year Notifications subpage to view students linked to notifications received by the user.
    • EWMP-50 Added a Historical Risk Level viewer to the Student EWM Profile under the Early Warning menu.
