Here, you will learn how to compare concentrator enrollments to district demographics, which means students currently enrolled in or considered concentrators in a program of study. While the state defines program categories, the programs of study, also known as instructional programs, are determined by and configured for each district.
Role: Educator
- Start under Programs of Study in the left navigation menu.
- Click the Table tab found across the top of the page.
- You will see a table of defined programs of study, program areas, and their associated courses for your district.
- Click the Edit Page Data Settings button, located to the right of the page title, to edit the school year details. Click the field, select the checkbox for the chosen school year, and then click Save.
- Click the Demographics Tab at the top of the page, and choose Concentrator Charts from the dropdown menu. Data is displayed by federal race, gender, and various programs, including special education, Economically Disadvantaged, McKinney-Vento, Highly Capable/Gifted, and Section 504. Multilingual Learner, Foster Care, and Military.
- Program of Study may also find demographics; click the Table Tab.
- Click the arrow to the left to view the Programs of Study, then click the magnifying glass in the Program of Study column.
- Select the Demographics Tab at the top of the page and choose Concentrator from the dropdown menu.
- On the far left, click the Data Settings drawer, then select Comparison or Distribution from the dropdown menu to view graphs showing demographic information for students considered concentrators, compared with all students in the district.
- You may also click the AI Insights drawer to gain more information about the chart.
- Hovering over any region of a chart displays a popover showing the numbers it represents.
- Click the bar to see a table of included students.
- Click the magnifying glass in the Student column to view further student details.
- Click one or more checkboxes on the far left to create a student group, then click the Selected Gear in the top-left and select "Add Students to Student Group."
- Select the radio button to Create New Group or Add to Existing Group.
- Fill in or select the Student Group Name.
- Click Save.
