🪪 EWM Find and Spotlight One Student

Here, you will learn to view a snapshot of a specific student’s information in one dynamic and printable report. View key student and parent/guardian information, risk levels, grades/credits, assessments, discipline and behavior, and attendance rate and trends over time.

1. Start by navigating to the left under Students. You will see a data table of all students. 
2. If desired, filter by the column filters to search.
3. The data displayed is for the current school year by default; users can customize their view using the Edit Page Data Settings.  
4. Click the eye icon next to the student of your choice to see the Student Dashboard.

5. Across the top of the page are subpages (tabs) that let you navigate the containers.

• The Profile container contains information about the student, including their name, picture, current grade, school, personal details, contact information, family information, and more.
• The Assessment tab will show all the student's assessments.
• The Demographics tab will show additional student services.
• The Behaviors tab will show containers for attendance, student referrals (SWIS), and student discipline (SIS).
• The Grades and Credits tab will show gradebook and assignment data.
• The Student Plans tab displays the student plans and interventions, if available.
• The CTE tab will show the CTE student profile if available.
• The Miscellaneous tab displays the schedule, observations, accomplishments, graduation, health, custom attributes, documents, enrollments, activities, categories, and ALE, if available.

6. Click the View EWM Profile icon for the Early Warning Module Student Profile.
7. Across the top of the page are tabs that let you navigate the screen views.

• Details: This contains information about the student, including their name, picture, current grade, school, personal details, contact information, family information, and more.
• Student Summary: This document contains posted and gradebook grades, assessments, early warning summaries, monthly discipline incidents, school-level attendance records, and section-level attendance records.
• Early Warning: This contains early-year, semester, or quarter warnings. Here, you can view the criteria for each risk level.
• Attendance: This section contains the monthly attendance totals and the list of attendance events.
• Section Attendance: This section contains the section attendance totals and the list of section attendance events. (Unexcused Absences, Excused Absences, Tardies)
• Discipline Risk: This section contains monthly incident bars, a monthly incident heatmap, and student discipline records.
• Grades/Credits: This table contains data on grades and credits per class name and school year.
• Assessments: This contains a data table of student assessment test scores. (coming soon)
• Student Groups: This contains a data table of student groups. (If available)
• Student Notes: This contains a data table of student notes.
