January 2025 New Features / Changes

• The names of the two containers with Attendance Threshold charts have been updated to no longer include  ‘90%’ to avoid confusion if a district updates its threshold in Data Admin*
  • 
• The majority of the Attendance Threshold charts included on the two above-noted containers have been given an overhaul, tabs reorganized to match each other, and the following tools are now available:
  • An Attendance Threshold entry box to adjust the default threshold
  • Options to Include Student List, Include District, or both can be used to view that data alongside the preselected bars.
  • A toggle to view either ‘At/Above’ or ‘Below’ the identified Attendance Threshold
  • A Filter section was added to adjust what is on the screen view that the user allows to:
    • Toggle on/off Data Years set in the user's Page Data Settings on the dashboard
    • Make relative filter selections based on the chart makeup.
      • Example:  if the chart includes Federal Races, there is a Federal Race filter to allow single or multi-select of Federal Races on the chart.
  • Custom chart colors are now honored on these charts if set in Data Admin**.

• Changes only available to Homeroom Data Administrators related to the above updates:
  • A  tool was added to allow district-wide a change to the default Attendance Threshold for charts on Homeroom Dashboards
    • This is available for Homeroom Data Administrators to set on the Dashboard Chart Settings page in the Configure section. 
    • Changing the value will update the default setting on all Attendance Threshold charts.

• The above Attendance Threshold chart updates are also reflected in the same charts on the left navigation Attendance page, found by expanding to Schools and then Behaviors.

• On the School District Dashboard, the ‘Attendance - Other Views’ container has a new screen view tab called ‘Last 5 Days Attendance Rate by School.’
  • 
• ‘Term Grades’ containers on all dashboards have new filters added below the Chart Data Settings.
  • The filters will allow the user to:
    • Toggle on/off Data Years set in the user's Page Data Settings on the dashboard
    • Make relative filter selections based on the chart makeup.
      • Example:  if the chart includes Federal Races, there is a Federal Race filter to allow single or multi-select of Federal Races on the chart.
  • An option to Include District can be used to view that data alongside the preselected bars.
  • Custom chart colors are now honored on these charts if they are set in Data Admin**.

• ‘SIS: Discipline Incidents’ container on all dashboards has had the following changes: 
  • A filter was added to the By Grade Level chart
  • A new chart By Program/Service was added
• Class Dashboards have been updated to include many new containers of data:
  • These are the same for when a Teacher clicks a class from their Teacher Dashboard, or anyone clicks a Class from the Schools left navigation Classes page 
  • 

• Naming has changed in various areas to reflect the consistency of the program/service. 
• Charts have been updated to hide a Program/Service Type if all individual Programs/Services included in that Program/Service Type are inactive. (ref: V3HOMEROOM-678)
• Clarification has been added to the Demographics Container on the screen view of By Program/Service that this view only provides current-year demographics information for any student list.
