Here, you will learn how to select a role.

Core Components for Application Access

  1. A School Data Account
    • Usually created via Student Information System (SIS) data migration.
    • Usernames may mirror SIS usernames, emails, or a custom format.
    • Mandatory activation.
  2. An Application User Role
    • Grant access to specific applications.
    • Automatic or manual assignment.
  3. A Person Role
    • Controls student data access.
    • Automatic or manual.
    • Users operate in one role at a time. The role with the most granular permissions is automatically selected for you. The role can be changed in the settings.

Dashboard Types

  • User-centric dashboards contain data related to you, the user.
  • Other-centric dashboards contain data about other people or entities, such as another teacher or a school.
