I had several requests for this when I worked with BGPS. People expect the filter to return the data from the tables exactly as queried. If there were an additional Data Extract tool, that would be a good fix, something similar to Students by Student Group, like "Student Group Value Extract."

I have had this same frustation with teachers, counselors, and administrators.

Yes!  Not only would it be great to download just those student but also be able to quickly create a Static Group of all these kids.

The information that ends up in the spreadsheet when we download is too much (including the code for the colors!?) - it should match the details of the visual that the teachers are seeing when they select the download.

Yes, it would be ideal if when we download we get what is currently displaying in the assessment widget. It would also be nice if when downloading the CAA/CIA Database we got something similar to the display instead of the data informing the display. The CAA/CIA Database view in Homeroom is much nicer than the spreadsheet view from EDS. I realize that there would be some issues with the data that displays (attempts, score) when hovering over the test name.

In addition to keeping the sorting of the rows, but also the ordering of the assessments in the columns.

Yes, please. It would be great if the ordering of the assessments stayed the same, and without the color codes, etc.

This has mostly been implemented with our 1.0.59.0 release of Homeroom. There are two different views: the single assessment view and the assessment set view. Configurations (ordering, sorting, and filtering) made in either view are now carried over when printing. For the assessment set view, configurations are also carried over to the downloaded file.

For the single assessment view, the downloaded file does yet have these configurations. The workaround for the downloaded file of the single assessment view is to use Excel capabilities.
