How to add Tasks to students High School and Beyond Task Page
Please note to complete the following instructions you will need High School and Beyond Data Admin permissions. If you are interested in these permissions please reach out to support@schooldata.net

- Left-Hand Navigation: Tab - Data Admin
- Now we are presented with several Graduation Years. We can work off one Graduation Year (ex: 2021) and at the end of these instructions we will show how to copy the tasks to other graduation years
- Click: (ex:) 2021
- To start adding tasks click: Add Record
- Now we can start adding Graduation Year, Grade Level, Internal Task, Instructions, and Ordinal
- Graduation Year: Be sure that the Graduation Year matches the one originally selected on the left-hand navigation. (Example: 2021)
- Grade Level: Select the Grade Level the student should be in when completing the task
- Internal Task: Select the internal task the student should complete. There will be a list of activities already in the system for you to select from. (OSPI Requirements will be listed in BOLD.)
10.) Instructions: Optional additional information/instructions for students
11.) Ordinal: Select a number for the order in which the tasks will display for students.
12.) Once everything is filled out, click: Add
12.) Now we can see the new Task added
13.) Repeat steps 5-11 for the remaining tasks
14.) To start adding Links click on the “Links” Tab
15.) Click: Add Task Link
16.) Now we can start adding Graduation Year, Grade Level, Task Label, and Task Link
17.) Graduation Year: The same Graduation year selected on the left-hand navigation
18.) Grade Level: The grade level the student is expected to access the link
19.) Task Label: The name of the Link
20.) Task Link: The URL or website the student should access
21.) Once finished entering information click: Add
22.) Now we can see the newly added Link
23.) Repeat steps 15-22 for remaining Links
24.) To start adding Surveys click on the “Surveys” tab
25.) Click: Add Custom Survey
26.) If you would like to create a custom survey, please reach out to support@schooldata.net
27.) Now we can add the Graduation Year, Grade Level, and Custom Survey
28.) Graduation Year selected on the left-hand navigation
29.) Grade Level we want the student to be in when taking the survey
30.) Custom Survey selector
31.) Repeat steps 25-30 for remaining Surveys
32.) To start adding Self Assessments, click “Self Assessment” tab
33.) Click: Add Record
34.) Now we can add Graduation Year, Grade Level, and Self Assessment Type
35.) Graduation Year that was originally selected on the left-hand navigation
36.) Grade Level we want the student to be taking the self assessment in
37.) Self Assessment Type from the Career Planner Self Assessments
38.) Click “Add”
39.) Repeat steps 33-38 for the remaining Self Assessments

40.) As we go along, to track the progress of our tasks we can click on the gear icon in the top right, and then click “Show Preview”

41.) Now that we have set up Tasks, Links, Surveys, and Self Assessments for One Grad Year, we can copy all of those activities to other grad years
42.) On the left-hand navigation click: "Copy Tasks"
43.) Select the Graduation Year you worked off of (ex: 2019) and then select the Graduation Years we'd like to copy to (ex: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)
44.) Click: Save
