High School and Beyond
Learn how to review your students progress on their High School and Beyond Plan
By clicking on “Career Planner”, Guardians will be taken to the Career Planner application. In this application, Guardians have the option to take the same steps their Students took. In Career Planner one could take Self Assessments, research Careers, Programs, and Schools, as well as upload important documents. For more information regarding the Career Planner application please visit our Helpcenter: https://support.schooldata.net/hc/en-us/categories/360001191473-Career-Planner
By clicking “Select Student” Guardians can select their student(s) to review work their student(s) completed for their High School and Beyond Plan.
Guardians will be presented with a list of their students’ names. Each name is a blue hyperlink, and once clicked the hyperlink will display more information for that specific student.
The first page presented will be the Students High School and Beyond Task Page. On this page the district has identified all of the HSB activities they would like students to complete per grade level.
The Meter icon to the right of each task is an indicator of the student’s progress. If it is a Gray meter icon, this means the student has not yet finished the activity.
Here is another example of how the meter icons can look:
The “Skills” shows an Orange checkmark. This means the students have marked this activity as “Complete” and are pending approval/review by their educator.
The “Interests” shows a Green checkmark. This means the Educator has marked this task as “Approved” and the student has completed/finished the activity.
The “Preferences'' shows a Red checkmark. This means the Educator has marked this as “Revisions requested” and the student needs to go back to the activity and make their edits.
Tab: Career Planner
Guardians can hover over the “Career Planner” tab and then click “Portfolio.” This will display what the student has accomplished in this specific application.
The Self Assessment section will display how many attempts the student has taken, as well as their completion by percentage.
Under the Careers, Career Clusters, Programs, and Schools will display the careers/institutions the student has Hearted/Favorited.
Tab: Four Year Plan
Here is where a Guardian can review what their student has done in the Four Year Plan application. By hovering over the tab “Four Year Plan” there will be several views.
The “Summary” displays the students current progress in relation to finishing their Four Year Plan.
The “Details” displays specific information entered by the student for their Four Year Plan, including the name of their Plan, their preferred career, along with their Graduation Pathway and Post-Secondary Plan.
The “Schedule” displays what courses the student was scheduled in vs what the student had Planned to take.
Tab: Graduation Monitor
By hovering over the tab “Graduation Monitor” Guardians can view their students’ graduation credits per subject.
The “Graduation Summary” displays a Graduation Tracker bar. The bar displays where the student currently stands credit-wise. Next to each subject, there is a black number (Ex: English 4) which shows how many credits are required per subject in order to Graduate.
Dark Green is for credits COMPLETED
Light Green is for credits SCHEDULED
Lime Green is for credits PLANNED (on their Four Year Plan)
The “Graduation Monitor Details” will list out the student’s credits in a data table format. To view the courses/details, Educators can click on the down arrows to the left of the subject.
Calendar Learning Sessions
When looking at the Calendar Learning Sessions Guardians can see upcoming events. To see the details of the event, Guardians will need to click on the event and a pop up will appear.
