When you click on an educational program name in any part of Career Planner, you're taken to a Program Profile to learn more. If you click "Find Programs" in the left-hand menu, you will see a shortcut to the last Program Profile you visited.
You can favorite or unfavorite a program from the Program Profile page by clicking on the heart in the top-left corner of the screen.
On the right side of the screen you'll see a list of Related Careers. This is a list of careers that the educational program supports. In the example below, the Truck and Bus Driving program can prepare people for careers as Subway and Streetcar Operators, Transportation Inspectors and more.
You can favorite any of these careers, and you can see a complete list by clicking (see all).
Overview
The Overview tab gives you a general description of what to expect from the program:
- How long the program takes to complete
- What you'll learn
- What kind of degree, certificate or license you'll earn upon completion
- What type of schools offer the program
- Opportunities for specialization
Educational Institutions
At the bottom of the Overview tab, you will see a list of schools in Washington that offer that program. The example below shows some of the Washington schools offering Physical Therapy programs.
To see schools in other states that offer the program, click on at bottom left...
...and click "x" in the State search box. Visit the School Search page to learn more about looking up schools.
