School Search

School Search is a versatile tool that lets you quickly look up schools using as many or few filtering options as you desire. Schools are not just colleges and universities - you will find apprenticeships, trade and vocational schools, and other types of post-secondary educational institutions.

As with other pages, click on  hearts to save a school to your favorites, or click on a school name to learn more about it.

To get to the School Search page, click "Find Schools" in the left-hand menu and then "School Search".

Searching and Sorting

You can type all or part of a school name to find a list of matching schools. In the example below, typing "culinary" in the School search box returns all schools with "culinary" in their name.

School are automatically sorted A-Z by name, but you can also sort by Favorites by clicking on the header. In the example below, clicking the  heart header twice has moved all favorited schools to the top of the list.

Out-of-State Schools

The School Search page shows you Washington schools by default, but it easy to see schools from other states and U.S. territories.

First, click the "x" in the State search box, or erase "WA". This will show all schools from all states and U.S. territories.

To use the State search box, type in the state or U.S. territory abbreviation. The example below shows the beginning of a list of Oregon ("OR) schools with "university in the name.
