Program Search

Program Search is a versatile tool that lets you quickly look up educational programs using as many or few filtering options as you desire. Educational programs aren't just college majors - there are also apprenticeships, certification programs and vocational training programs that cover everything from Plumbing to Funeral & Mortuary Sciences.

As with other pages, click on  hearts to save an educational program to your favorites, or click on a program name to learn more about it.

To get to the Program Search page, click "Find Programs" in the left-hand menu and then "Program Search".

Searching Programs

You can type all or part of a word in any search box to find a list of matching programs. In the example below, typing "tech" in the Program search box returns all programs with "tech" in the name.

Filtering Programs

There are several different filter options to quickly narrow down your list of interesting educational programs. For example, if you want to see just the programs that you've favorited in other parts of Career Planner, toggle the heart column filter to "Favorited".

Another example is if you want to see the programs for the careers you've favorited and are offered at one of the schools you favorited. To do this, select "Yes" for both "Is Related to Favorited Career" and "Is Related to Favorited School".

To clear a filter selection, just click the "x" at the bottom right corner of the header.
