When a user creates a prior written notice, eligibility form, or 504 plan, there are certain permissions that are centered around those sensitive documents. Review the permissions stated below to better understand who at your district should be entering plans into the application.
Permissions #1 - Creator of forms/plans can view and edit in "View tabs."
Ex: Principal John creates a prior written notice, eligibility form, and 504 plan for a student. He can view and edit these documents in the "View Tabs."
Permissions #2 - Designated 504 Coordinator of 504 plan can view and edit 504 plan in "View tab."
Ex: Principal John creates a 504 plan (this only works for the 504 plan) for a student and designates Counselor Peggy as the "504 Coordinator." John can view and edit this plan in the "View Tab," and Peggy can as well.
Permissions #3 - User who has access to the app, but did not create the forms/plans, and is not the 504 coordinator, can only view plans for students they have current access to in the "Student 504 Documents" tab.
Ex:Principal John has created a prior written notice, eligibility form, and 504 plan for a student. The school phycologist Drew wants to view these forms/plans and has access to the 504 app. Once logged in, Drew can only view/print the plans for the students he has access to at his school under the "Student 504 Documents" tab. He however cannot edit them.
**If the creator/ownership of a plan needs to be changed such because a student has switched buildings in your district, please send in a Help Desk ticket to support@schooldata.net with the student name(s), who the previous creator/owner was, and who the new creator/owner needs to be.
