In Homeroom, there is the ability to make student groups based on impairments, accommodations types, and/or accommodations. This allows users to quickly find which students they need to make accommodations for and group them easily.
Go to [yourdistrictname].schooldata.net
Select Student Groups on the left navigation pane, then Create v1 Student Group. Select the Filter & Create tab.
Next, select Add Filter Group.
The first Add Filter Group will be Enrollments: what population of students should we be targeting? Most likely the entire district, grade, or school. The number of students in the group is displayed on the right side in the number. Click on the number to see who the students are.
Next, select another Add Filter Group and Schooldata.net 504 Plan to filter by information entered in the 504 application. You can filter by Impairment, Accommodation Types, and Accommodations.
For more information, see Creating / Editing Student Groups.
