Description:
In this 90 minute session participants will learn how risk works in the new SchoolData.net Connect application. Participants will learn to configure both a simple risk indicator as well as how more complex indicators work. A variety of uses of risk will be shared including identification of students who may be struggling, tracking of MTSS tiered supports, as well as indicators used for perfect attendance and finding "hidden" students for stretch or acceleration opportunities.

Course Objectives:
- Participants will understand the basic functionality of the new Connect Risk Application.
- Participants will be able to construct a simple risk indicator and identify the components for a more complex indicator.
- Participants will be able to apply their understanding of risk to a variety of applications within a school or district.
