Classroom analytics are still in development. As districts populate Classroom with more and more information, additional reporting options will be created. If you have suggestions for Classroom reports or charts, please go to Classroom Enhancement Ideas and submit a new idea.
To view the currently available charts in Classroom, from the Home screen, under the Analyze section, select Assignment. Alternatively, from the Classroom directory tree, select Analytics and then Assignments.
A list of all the assignments you have composed is presented. You can narrow the list by selecting one or more of the following filter options, a particular Gradebook, a Grade Level, a Subject, or an Assignment Question Type. The list has a column for "Submissions", which is a count of how many students have a submitted assignment, either by taking it online, or from you entering their results into Classroom.
Once you have found the assignment you want to examine, select the plus symbol, "+", to the right of the assignment. You can select more than one assignment to compare.
If you selected the wrong assignments or would like to start over, select the Reset button. When you are ready to see the chart select View Chart.
In the example below, we chose two benchmark assessments to compare. An alphabetical list of the students and their score is displayed in columnar format. You can switch between the raw score (#) or the percentage correct (%), by selecting either symbol.
If you select Show Totals, a popover screen will appear with a summary of the assignments' results, as shown below.
If you want to see more detail on any single assignment, select the title of the assignment from one of the column headers. A list of the students, arranged in descending order, will be displayed.
This same view is displayed if you select only one assignment to examine from the Analyze >> Assignments list and looks and acts very similar to the Assessments widget in Homeroom.
You can turn performance levels on or off by clicking them and you can switch between the raw score and the percentage correct by selecting either symbol.
If you used an Assignment Template to create this assignment for students across multiple gradebooks, subjects or grades, that is, you used that template on more than one assignment, select Associated Template Analytics. A list of all the student results linked to that assignment template is displayed. In this manner, you can compare results from multiple classes, student groups, and even teachers.
While viewing a single assignment or assessment, select the Analytics tab to view the results of any service or subgroups.
The Subgroup Comparisons button will default to displaying the results by school.
However, select the drop down list and choose any other sub or service group to see their assignment or assessment results.
The subgroup list is populated with the same service and demographic groups, and the same statuses, as Homeroom. They are based on the information in your student information system.
You can switch between raw score and percentage correct by selecting either symbol.
Please Note: Currently, there are no printing functions available under Assignment Analytics. However, you can use your browser or operating system's built-in screenshot or snapshot features to save any analytics as pictures for printing.
