Purpose
The Longitudinal Cohort Assessments data extract displays how a group of students performed on one or more assessments. This is especially useful for tracking performance on seasonally administered assessments. It is also an excellent way to do a cross-subject comparison, for instance reading, math, and science scores for a well-defined group. Additionally, if you take a snapshot of assessment results the chart can be used in an outside venue or for comparisons over time.
Choose the Assessment(s). Select the student group. Click Views to display the chart. See the performance of students who have taken ALL of the selected assessments. Only students who have a score on every assessment selected (a student cohort) will become part of the percentages and counts.
**If you do not see results, you may want to check the assessments widget to see that there are scores for at least two of the selected students for each of the selected assessment tests. The number of students included in the results is likely to decrease as more assessment tests are added.
