Purpose:
To display the data for a single student from the Referrals application. The Referral data may be entered into into the SchoolData.net application itself, or may be migrated in from 3rd party applications such as SWIS. The widget lists the titles, dates, referring person, descriptions, and resulting actions of the student's behaviors.
Location:
The Behaviors (Referral) Widget is on the Student Spotlight Tab and may be called Behaviors, PBIS or even SWIS, depending upon the district configuration. This data is also located in the Student Groups Widget to filter groups based on Referral data. The referring person will only display if it is a district employee.
Functionality:
The widget shows the current school year by default.
- click the Calendar Button
in the widget toolbar to select a previous year.
- click the Print Button
to print the student's entire behaviors history.
- click the Question Mark Button
to show this Help Desk documentation for this widget.
- click the Refresh Button
to clear this widget's data to bring it back to the current year.
There are two versions of the Referral Widget. They have the same functionality, but a different look.
One looks similar to the Discipline widget, with the data shown vertically. This allows the user to see one referral incident at a time.
The second look shows the data horizontally. This allows the user to easily see more referrals at one time. It also draws attention to the referrals with a Major severity.
Contact your SchoolData.net Data Admin to change the Referral widget.
