The CAA/CIA widget is on the Dashboard. It displays information relevant to graduation requirements. The widget indicates if a student has met the Certificate of Individual Achievement (CIA) requirement, the Certificate of Academic Achievement (CAA) requirements, and/or Diploma requirements.
Choose a Student Group
Choose the group of students you wish to view information for from either the My Student Groups or the Student Groups Tabs .

My Student Groups
A list of groups based on your class rosters and groups that you have saved. Homeroom creates groups based on your current class rosters. These can not be edited. To create and save your own group, click the Edit Button

Student Groups
A form to generate groups based on enrollment filters. For the CAA/CIA widget, only grades 9-12 will display in the options. There are four descending levels of enrollment filters: School Year; School; Subject; and Teacher. Each time you choose a filter, groups are generated and lower filters are updated. Keep adding filters unit your group is generated. To remove filters, click the 'eye' icon
next to the filter level to which you want to return.
View the Results
The CAA/CIA information for the selected student group displays in a chart.

Student Groups
Identifies the current student group chosen. Click the current student group text to choose a different group.

Page
Use the Paging Selector to change pages. Click "Page #" to jump to a page. Use the left or right arrows to go to the previous or next page.

Show Unenrolled Students
Students who have withdrawn are omitted from the results by default. To add them, click the Show Unenrolled Students button.

Student Filter
Search on students names.

Column Headers
The column headers display what type of data is in the columns. By default, the data is sorted by Student Name in descending order. Clicking a column header re-sorts the data on that page.

Column Data
The data in the columns comes from either uploaded files or external sources like OSPI. Please note that because OSPI is a different data source than for other Homeroom widgets, sometimes data from one source will not be in another source, which can lead to discrepancies between widgets. Below is more information on the data.

Student Name (external application): Student's name. Click the QuickProfile button to see more information.

CIA CAA (from file upload): Student's graduation status. If CAA, CIA, or Diploma requirements are met, it is shown. If not, then “No" is shown.
- Grad Requirement Year (from file upload): The year for which the student must meet the graduation requirements, regardless of their anticipated or actual grad year.

Cum GPA (external application): Student's cumulative GPA.

Current Credits (external application): Student's current total credits.

Current Grade (from file upload): Student's current grade level.

Met Grad Requirement <Any Subject> (from file upload): If the student has met the Grad Requirement for that subject as determined by the students Grad Requirement year.

<Any Subject> Test (from file upload): Student's assessment test status for a given subject. If they have met standards, there is a green check mark next to the name of the relevant test. Hover over for more information. If they have not met standards, there is a red x next to the test's name and the number of test attempts. Hover over for more information. The cell is blank is the student has not attempted the test.

Printing and Downloading
Click the Print Button in the Widget Toolbar to print the current page. Click the Download Button
in the Widget Toolbar to download a CSV file of the entire student group. The Download Button allows districts to print a CSV file with any of the following add-on information:
- Student Name: One or Two Columns, First Last or Last First
- Birth Date
- Identifiers: Student ID, SSID, External Application ID, Other ID
- Demographics: Gender, Ethnicity, Student Language, Native Language
- Enrollment: Grade Level, Predominant School, Currently Enrolled Status, Current GPA, Current Credits, Failed Credits
- Optionally:
- Schools who have configured their Risk Indicators can add on Risk Indices to their Download Options.
- Services can also be added per District.
If you don't wish to see the CAA/CIA widget you can click the button inside the widget. To reenable the widget click on the
button at the top of the page.
