QuickProfiles display information about an entity and provide a method to open a new spotlight tab for that entity if you choose. Expand the sections below to learn more about the QuickProfile and Spotlight Tab.
QuickProfile
A QuickProfile popover appears virtually anytime you click a person's name (like a student or teacher) or the name of an "entity" (like a school, class, or activity). A QuickProfile displays information about the chosen entity including their picture, contact information, and roles, etc. QuickProfiles can also be triggered by clicking on any QuickProfile Icon , which typically appear next to student names.
Spotlight Tab
Clicking any Spotlight opens a Spotlight tab. Depending on what entity type you clicked, different widgets appear on the tab. The following is a breakdown of the widgets that appear on different types of Spotlight Tabs:

Spotlight Print
Click the Print All button in the upper-right of any Spotlight tab to configure print data from any/all of the widgets on that tab which offer printing capabilities. Select the widgets to include and, if available, the years of historical data to include. There are convenient "Select All" and "Toggle All" buttons. After the widgets and years are selected, click Print Preview to see a preview of your printed content. Click Print to engage the browsers built-in print dialog.
