Extract and Upload Process for Pre Record Reconciliation WAMS Files
Download the file:
- Access your EDS account at: https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us.
- Enter your username and password.
- From the Home tab, select View My Applications.
- From the application list, select Washington Assessment Management System (WAMS).
- Select the Profile tab.
- From the menu on the left, select File Downloads.
- From the current year administration of MSP-HSPE-DAPE-EOC, navigate to the Score Results section. There will be a file entitled: "{District Code District Name} SD HighSchool Scorefile {Date}.xls". Select it for download.
- Open the file you downloaded and save it as a comma-separated value file (.csv) with a meaningful name.
Upload the scores:
- Log in to Homeroom Admin.
- Navigate to Uploads >> Upload Assessment Scores >> Automatic Score Loader / Review Uploads.
- From the Select Loader dropdown, select "{School Year} OSPI Pre Record Reconciliation WAMS File Loader". For Example: '2013-2014 OSPI Pre Record Reconciliation WAMS File Loader' is what you would see for the 2013/2014 school year loader. (**Note: if the loader does not indicate the current school year, please notify support@schooldata.net so we can update it. Scores will be loaded to the school year indicated on the loader.)
- Select Chose File, browse for the .csv file you saved above, then select Submit.
- Once validated, select Approve from the Review Uploads sections. You will also receive an email notification.
Once the reconciled files are released as an Administration in EDS Query, you may want to delete the WAMS score load before loading the released SPSS text file using the OSPI SPSS Autoloader. This will prevent duplicate scores from appearing in your database and allow you to assign an Administration to the scores.
