Skills Survey

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR STUDENTS

The Skills survey asks you to rate your interest in using different skills in your career. You will rate 42 skills in all.

FIND THE SURVEY

1. Log into Career Planner: https://[district].schooldata.net/v2/career-planner
2. Click on "Learn About Myself" in the left-hand menu.
3. Click "Skills" Click the first "Skills" in the list to get started. You can take the assessment up to four times, 

TAKE THE SURVEY

1. Click and drag the 6 skills you like to use to the I Own This box. 
2. Click and drag 12 skills you like to use to the I Like These A Lot box.
3. Click and drag 24 skills you like to use to the I Like These Some box.
4. When you've filled in all three boxes, scroll down and click the "See Results" button.

VIEW YOUR RESULTS

1. This page shows the Career Clusters (career fields) & Careers (specific careers) that closely match your skill set. In addition, you will also see your career Personality Types.
2. Click "Generate Suggestions" at the bottom of the screen.
3. To change your answers, click on "Review Answers" on the Results page to go back.
