Purpose:
To add, edit or delete Text Translation Languages. The Text Translation Languages are the languages the district has translated some text elements into.
What you'll need:
- Language Id
- this can be found in the Admin - Classroom Admin >> Report Card >> Languages
Directions:
Log into the Admin at http://{YourDistirct}.schooldata.net/admin with your SchoolData.net username and password.
- navigate to the Classroom Admin category >> Report Card >> Text Translation Languages (Element Table)

- Id

Text Translation Language
- Language (and Language Id)

Web Form:
The web form is best used for small changes, or one or two additions, which should be all that as needed for this data.

type in or edit the text translation language
- this will be seen when selecting a language
- search for and select the language
- this is the language from the SIS that will be associated to the text translation language
- click the 'submit' button
CSV Upload:
The .csv upload is best used for multiple changes or additions.
Directions:
- click the table actions button at the bottom of the window
- select 'download CSV template...' It will be named "TemplateForTable-TextTranslationLanguages-[current date].csv"
- open the template in Excel. Leave the header row in tact
- for each Text Translation Language, enter the following information row by row, starting with the second row (note some fields are optional):
- Text Translation Language
- Language Id (optional)
- save the template as a csv file again
- return to Homeroom Admin and select table actions, then upload.csv
- select the template you modified, and optionally give the file a label
- click Upload
