Purpose:
To allow users to save the current version of the chart. For example, a user renders the Student Scores on One Assessment Series for a student after the Fall Benchmark. The user may want to save this view to easily re render this chart after the goal is established, or after the Winter or Spring Benchmarks are given.
What you'll need:
A rendered chart
- To find articles on rendering specific charts try this section of the Help Desk.
Directions:
click the Actions button
- click Save & Name
see the Save & Name settings
enter the data in the form, which may include:
- Label:
- the label is preconfigured with the name of the chart, date and time the chart was rendered. This can be changed to anything, but should be specific as the more charts that are saved, the easier it is to mix up the saved version when searching for something specific.
- Description:
- this is a longer description of what the chart is. This is recommended as it can help users to find a specific chart as the My Charts section fills up
- the text box can be made bigger by clicking in the bottom right and pulling the box down
- Analysis:
- this is an optional note where the end user can notate what impression or conclusion they came to after viewing the chart
- the text box can be made bigger by clicking in the bottom right and pulling the box down
to cancel, click the x to the left of Save & Name to close or hide the settings without saving the chart
to save the chart, click the Save button
The chart is now saved in My Charts.
