Migrate Assignment Template Submissions

Purpose:

To copy student assignment answers / scores from one assignment to another.  For example, a kindergarten students takes a test in Trimester 1, if they get a level 3 on portions of the test the teacher does not have to re-test those sections in Trimester 2 or 3. Therefore, it is important that the scores from Tri 1, which are above a level 3, are carried over to Tri 2 and 3. Because they take the same assessment in all three trimesters the scores from Tri 1 can be copied to Tri 2, and from Tri 2 to Tri 3.

What you'll need:

• Assignment Template Name
• This process will only work to copy scores from one Assignment to another that have the same number/type of questions in the same order.

Directions:

Log into the Admin at {YourDistirct}.schooldata.net/admin with your SchoolData.net username and password.

• navigate to the Classroom Admin category >> Gradebooks >> Migrate Assignment Template Submissions (Task)

• assignment template name the scores are to be copied from
• assignment template name the scores are to be copied to

Web Form:

The web form is the best use of this task.

• search for and select the source assignment template 
• this is the assignment template that was used to create the assignment that has the scores that need to be copied to the new assignment
• search for and select the destination assignment template 
• this is the assignment template that was used to create the assignment that the scores need to be copied to
• click the 'submit' button

CSV Upload:

The .csv upload is not recommended.
