NOTE* This How To article assumes that you have previously acquired the WELPA Placement score file
There are several required columns that must be present for the autoloader to accept the file. These columns are in the table below:
Column Header | Explanation of requirement. |
Gr | This column identifies what grade level the student was in when they took the placement exam. |
SSID | This column identifies the student in the database. |
Test Date | This column identifies when the student took the placement exam. |
Scale Scr | This column identifies the score the student received on the placement exam. |
Test Code | This column identifies the placement exam (WELPA, WLPT) |
NOTE* The column names must be an exact match to the table above or the loader will not be able to identify them.
NOTE* If you are having trouble identifying the Test Code for a score, typically WELPA scores are 1 to 2 digits in length, however, WLPT scores are 3 digits in length.
If you do not have these columns in the score file the autoload process will not be complete.
Before loading the score file make sure it is in CSV format.
Loading the score file:
- Login to {DistrictName}.schooldata.net/admin example: mabton.schooldata.net/admin
- Click "Uploads"
- Click "Upload Assessment Scores"
- Click "Automatic Score Loader / Review Uploads"
- Under "Select Loader" select WELPA Placement Test
- Under "Select Assessment Score File(s) to Upload" select the WELPA Placement score file.
- Click Submit
- Wait for validation
- Once the file has validated you can review the validation report for accuracy.
- Click Submit.
The scores will now be loaded into the database and will be viewable in Homeroom and usable in any ELL reports the district may have.
