To set up the process of migrating SWIS data into the SDS suite of applications on a nightly bases. The data will populate a student spotlight widget, be used in the creation of student groups, be used in the calculation of student risk, and will allow users to see charts and dashboards based on the data.
What you'll need:
The data in Homeroom will only be as accurate as the data in SWIS will allow. Each schools SWIS facilitator will need to ensure all students and staff have a unique ID in the person setup of SWIS. This will need to be the student's SSID or OtherID and the employee's Name ID.
All the schools will need to use consistent IDs. If the IDs aren’t already setup, a Skybuild export that generates the necessary SWIS person import file could help make the process easier. Here's a link to the SWIS person import instructions: https://www.pbisapps.org/Resources/SWIS%20Publications/SWIS%20Suite%20Person%20Import%20Specification.pdf.
