PBIS Apps - SWIS Integration Setup
To set up the process of migrating SWIS data into the SDS suite of applications on a nightly basis. The data will populate a Behavior/ Referral widget to create student groups, calculate student risk, and allow users to see charts and dashboards based on the data.
What you'll need
The data in Homeroom will only be as accurate as the data in SWIS will allow. Therefore, each school's SWIS facilitator must ensure all students and staff have a unique ID in the person setup of SWIS. This must be the student's SSID or OtherID and the employee's Name ID.
All the schools will need to use consistent IDs. If the IDs aren’t set up, a Skybuild export generates the necessary SWIS person import file could help make the process easier. Here's a link to the SWIS person import instructions: SWIS Suite Person Import Specifications Person Import Tool (Video). Contact support@schooldata.net if you need help.
