Set Gradebook Template

Purpose:

To update an existing Gradebook with the flag 'IsTemplate'.  There is no way to make a gradebook a 'template' at the time of creation; this Admin task will allow the district to do that.

Directions:

Log into the Admin at {YourDistirct}.schooldata.net/admin/ with your SchoolData.net username and password.

• navigate to the Classroom Admin category >> Gradebooks >> Set Gradebook Template (Task)
• For more information on navigating in the Admin read this article.  
• the information requested includes:
• gradebook label
• fill out the web form and submit
• For more information on utilizing a task read this article.

What you'll need:

• Gradebook Label
• this can be found in the Admin - Classroom Admin >> Gradebooks >> Gradebook View

Web Form:

The web form is the best use of this task.

• search for and select the gradebook label
• click the 'True' button next to gradebook is template

CSV Upload:

The .csv upload is not recommended.
