Change Gradebook Owner

Purpose:

To change the owner of a gradebook.  For example, a gradebook is created for a teacher at the beginning of the year, however, the teacher might be assigned to a difference class.  Rather than deleting the gradebook and starting over, this task can be utilized to change the application user owner of the gradebook.

Directions:

Log into the Admin at http://{YourDistirct}.schooldata.net/admin with your SchoolData.net username and password.

• navigate to the Classroom Admin category >> Gradebooks >> Change Gradebook Owner (Task)

• the information requested includes:
• application user
• gradebook label
• fill out the web form and submit

What you'll need:

• Application User
• this can be found in the Admin - Homeroom Admin >> Homeroom Users and Permissions >> View Users and their Person Roles
• Gradebook Label
• this can be found in the Admin - Classroom Admin >> Gradebooks >> Gradebook View

Web Form:

The web form is the best use of this task.

• search for and select the application user
• search for and select the gradebook label
• click the 'submit' button

CSV Upload:

The .csv upload is not recommended.
