FRS Levels

Purpose:

Allows user to add / edit / view Indicator Levels and descriptions.  These display in the Student Self-Reflection and the Total Overview user interface as well as others.  They are the levels of competency for the Future Ready Skills.

Directions:

Log into the Admin at {YourDistirct}.schooldata.net/admin/ with your SchoolData.net username and password.

• navigate to the Future Ready Skill Admin category >> FRS Levels (Element Table)

• some of the information contained in the table includes:
• Id 
• Future Ready Skill Level
• Description
• add or edit the information in a web form or via a .csv upload file

Web Form:

The web form is best used for small changes, or one or two additions.

• enter the future ready skill level
• this is the name of the skill level
• enter the description
• this is a short concise description of the skill level

CSV Upload:

The .csv upload is best used for multiple changes or additions.

Directions:

1. click the table actions button at the bottom of the window
2. select 'download CSV template...' It will be named "TemplateForTable-FutureReadySkillLevels-[current date].csv".
3. open the template in Excel. Leave the header row in tact.
4. for each skill level, enter the following information row by row, starting with the second row (note some fields are optional):
   • Future Ready Skill Level (required)
   • Future Ready Skill Level Description (required) 
5. save the template as a csv file again
6. return to Homeroom Admin and select table actions, then upload.csv
7. select the template you modified, and optionally give the file a label.
8. click Upload
